Im looking at getting some coilovers in the next couple weeks. Any suggestions on where to buy? Any sales, forum member discount going on? I have about $1500 to spend. Ill take suggestions on coilovers too Ive never purchased a set. Im leaning toward the tein super street coilovers w/ pillowball upper mounts. I dont do much autoX but I do a fair amount of spirited driving on back roads and I frequent a few dirt roads.

pretty much any of the vendors on here can get you a good deal. I'd also look into Import Image Racing. www.importimageracing.com

you can definetly get a decent setup with your budget, my personal experience i have owned a tein basics, megan street, and buddy club pro spec coilovers. the only dis like i had about my buddy club ones was after 25k miles they started to rattle apart and they did not have adjustable top hats with camber plates. The Tein Basics rode ok no issues and my Megan Racing Streets are by far the most comfortable DD setup with adjustable front Top hats and 32 way dampening. the only thing i dont like about my Megans is they dont go low enough for my liking but definetly get it on for some spirited driving. my spring rates for the megans are 8k Front and 6k rear and you can pick up a set for nearly 700 shipped which still allows you to get a nice sway bar, end links and bushing kit for serious handling. I hope this help a little again these are all just my personal experiences and in no way trying to bash on any suspenion company.

Ive been talking to Patrick at allpro and I think Im going to go with the BC br series coilovers. Would you wanna lend me a hand installing them if I decide not to take it to allpro? I wont be purchasing them for a couple weeks or so. After this weekend Im working like 15 days straight. So it will be mid feb.

Thats what I hear. seems like a lot of people are running them and have good things to say. For the price seems like you cant beat them.

I would think for around $1500 you can buy the coilovers and have allpro install them unless you are going with the inverted ones.

They installed mine and adjusted the height to exactly where I wanted it. Which is much easier and quicker when it's on a lift.

Yeah thats why im considering spending the extra to have them installed. Plus I dont know if I'm gonna have the time to do it myself.

i can help you free of charge and i got a friend with a garage who would also be down to help he has stands, jack air tools and over the last 6 years i have probably installed 12-15 different coilover setups for friends with zero issues just let me know. For sure BC's are legit, as a matter of fact they are made in the same factory as megan racing im planning on getting a set when i sell my wrx and upgrade to a STI
