Installed one of the Sparco Milano's today. The blackish gray Alcantara looks pretty good, but the other seat is off at JPM Coachworks to get some custom work done. Once that seat is done...we'll do this one as well, so this look is temporary. :naughty:

So this morning I put on the rear aprons that match the side skirts...

I am not sure if I really like them or not. The fitment is not the best...but it works. They kind of finish off the line that runs down the car...

I didn't have to modify or drill the bumper luckily, so this can be a take it or leave it deal.

Not a fan of that.....that went from a well classy looking car to an over done one really quick IMHO.

I am thinking the same thing. Something about them doesn't flow. Can't quite put my finger on it...but I know it when I see it.

On a side note...here is a better shot of the interior with the Sparco Milano installed. I can't wait to see what JPM does with the other one. It will really match nicely with the plans we have...

Yeah...sometimes you don't know how something is going to look until you put it on the car. I have seen them work on other rides...just doesn't seem to be on mine.

I think it's the way the rear diffuser pops out that just puts too many lines in one small area that kills it.

This pic shows it a lot and just kills the car.

I looks like it is just hanging there doesn't it...

From an angle, it looks ok but you are right about straight on. I think that is my biggest issue with them. Maybe if they wrapped around the back bumper a little bit more...

Damn. I know. I guess I just need to swap the skirts and aprons out for the more subdued HT Auto's kit. That would probably work perfectly.

The side skirts fit surprisingly well. The rears...could be better. I am also crazy picky which doesn't help. Creates good business for you just not good in this case. ;)

Front and rear Kartboy endlinks are on.

I took it for a spirited drive after the install to set everything in. It appears the sways are able to do their job better over the the stock end links. Feels great so far.

They aren't started yet. I am last on the list on purpose. :wiggle:

But truthfully, the guys at JPM have been hard at work fulfilling orders and other projects while moving into a new office, so I told them to hold off until the schedule opened up some. I am not in a rush so I don't want to constrict the pipeline. They will look incredible when done, but I would rather be a little patient!

One of the hardest things with recording exhaust notes is that even the best DSLR's have insanely bad mic's built in, so we can never really tell what the exhaust sounds like in person.

I recently picked up a Rode mic to mount to the top of my Nikon D7000 for video and tested it on my exhaust.

    Here is the mic

I wanted something that was a little quieter and had larger tips/tubing. The power mods are starting to go on in the next couple of weeks so I wanted to make sure everything was as free flowing as possible.

I got A LOT of compliments on how the SPT exhaust sounded. It was just a little bit too loud for my tastes and the tips didn't really fill up the bumper gaps like I wanted. The GReddy fits up perfectly.

Now off to the tire shop to get some 265 PSS's mounted...

I'm in the camp that loved the way the spt sounded. But the new one looks so much nicer.

Look forward to hearing what you have to say about the PSS's. Think I'm getting those next as well

Same, finger is on the trigger. I know Jeff seems to like PSS's, and reviews seem to be pretty nice for them.

It's a definite yes to liking them ALOT now. They are holding up to wear extremely well and the grip is awesome. Also after a weekend of rain driving, they handle standing water many times better than the starspecs.
