Sadly, no numbers as of right now. Nothing definitive because of some smoking issues choking Doug while he was trying to tune. It'll be back after 500 miles and no burning oil.
I haven't asked the guys at allpro but if I had to guess I would say its all the leftover oil in the exhaust
I doubt it. We have a new process for the rings I've yet to have one that didn't seat right away. Which is not to say it isn't a possibility.
Yea no more smoke. Leftover oil and spray on the header wrap, and probably oil too. yep went with a build from Allpro/Ball.
Still in break in, i think from the last time i talked to Ryan it was only like 100 or so miles on it.
No. it's the same setup different turbo and i have a fmic. Probably in the near future though, i'll be going with a dom1.5
Nahhh Wanted something bigger stock location vs going with a rotated setup...just to be...different. +1 i agree with Dom 1.5, but so many people run that turbo, and indeed it's one of the best turbos out there. But 80lbs per minute...could flow great air for me.
You know when we built that engine you weren't talking about a 80lb per minute turbo. I would have done a lot of things different for a turbo that large.
