So i have a 05 STI, lowered on Swift Spec-R Blacks, lowered about an inch in the rear and a little less than an inch in the front. Wanting to get 18x10 +25 offset Rims...Aside from needing to roll the fenders. Does anyone foresee any problems with rubbing or other things of this nature?

    Much Appreciated,
    Justin

Well, I've found a bit more info, and decided 18x8.5 +25 offset would be better and a lot less worries about fitment. But since we're all looking....same question

ride the BBS's and spend the money on struts, bushings and tires. Paint the wheels Bum Crazy Burple if wanting a different look

18x10 +25 isn't even going to come close to fitting on your body style without major fender work and a ton of negative camber.

18x8.5 +25 will probably fit but you would want to roll I would guess along with negative camber.

The bigger question is why the hell are you looking at +25 offset wheels? Stock for Subaru's is up in the 50's so you are talking about going way outside of the range. Mine are +38 and that can be considered pushing it and I have the wide body. I would go MAX +35 if you want to keep your car handling anything like it is supposed to.

+25 wheels are designed for EVO's and BMW's that come with lower offset wheels from the factory and have have huge wheel wells. Subaru's just don't have that luxury and the suspension was not designed to work at those offsets.

That is...of course...unless you are going for the crazy stretched/hellaflush look. Then performance goes out the window anyway...

Well, in short....I don't know that much about wheels and tires setups and offsets. And I just found a set if rims I liked. But if I need to find a higher offset set of wheels guess I'll keep looking. So what should be my offset window? +40-60

+35 and up. Stock is +53 so you really can't go higher than that (nor would you want to). Ideally, on your body style, closer to +40 the better especially if you plan on adding width.

I think +42 is the most common aftermarket and performance size on the impreza. But +35 is the best looking(if you're not planning on doing any track days or hardcore racing) in my opinion.

Well I've never taken my car to a track or autox event as of yet. I'd like to. Because I'm more of a function over form kinda guy. But I found a set last night that's 18x8.5 +35. So I'll prolly go with those unless I find something I like the look of better and better offset . My budget limits my options though. :-/
