I feel like this should be in the off topic section. lol

I need to get new tires for my wife's prius. I don't want to get cheap crappy tires but she also doesn't need High performance summer tires either. The size I need is 185/65/15. She does drive like a crazy person lol so a little bit of a grip would help. What do you guys run on your DD's? Any suggestions?

That's not a bad price for the ultra high performance all-season tires. I was thinking around $450 so that looks like a win to me.

This is incorrect. The BRZ tires are the same as the 'performance' Prius in Japan. In the US, the prius gets a shittier Bridgestone or Toyo tire.

you should email clarkson and let him know his folly, unless the UKDM is also getting the Japanese performance edition

They probably do. Don't you know everyone across the pond in both directions gets all the good stuff?

A bit of info.If you are concerned about gas mileage you need to stick with low rolling resistance tires. I have to double check tomorrow on which brand(s) but most tires will cause a drop of several m.p.g on that car.

The main reason we got the prius was for the crazy mpg you get. I would be willing to drop a few mpg for a better tire. Like I said before my wife is a crazy driver. She drives it like it's a WRX. lol
