I just screw up the sway bar install yesterday:bowdown:

I over tighten the D bracket bolt and broke it(time to get a better torque wrench). I am ordering the bolt extractor to get the broken bolt out.

Any knows what kind of bolts is it? It has number 8 on it, and the head fits the 12 mm socket. Or anyone has spare bolts I can buy?

Car is sitting in the garage right now...Any help is appreciated!

There are a number of 12mm bolts that will fit. Just pull unbolt the other side out and go to Ace, Home Depot, Advanced, or your own bonus bolts drawer and find one in comparison.

Also you can still drive the car with a an unbolted sway bar.

Unfortunately both side are broken... But I'll try find bolts from the stores you mentioned.

    Thanks!

m8x1.25tp use grade 8 bolts and a little anti-seize, torque to spec

    Thanks for the info!

Sorry for asking stupid question. What does "tp" mean when you mentioned m8x1.25 as the bolt size?
