I had to have two tires changed due to punctures.
I found 2 used one but they have a tread difference and I would need to have them shaved down a bit.
Does anyone knows of a shop who could do that in the cobb area?

    I second Gran Turismo East.
You're doing the smart thing and trying to make all corners the same diameter. Spend some more time and make the drive. If I were in your shoes that is where I would go.

i would assume any reputable tire shop could do it in a pinch, but all GTE does is custom performance suspension/wheel/tire stuff for aftermarket vehicles. it just makes sense

GTE has done a set for me...I'd make the trip just because they know their stuff.

Butler Tire is probably the most expensive, don't go there

I guess GTE it is! I sent them an e-mail to see if they still offer this and at what price.
    Thank you for your help!

GTE and no one else as far as I know will shave used tires. They will only do new ones.

apparently all the stuff stuck in used ones do damage to the machine. better call and check first.

I called Kieran this morning and said they can do it on used tires but they would have preferred them not mounted.
Anyway, I'll probably do the trip next week.
Thank you to everyone for your help!

So, I went to GTE yesterday and received great service and great advices!
And best of all, they didn't needed to shave my tires.
    Worth the trip up there!
Now I need a driver front door but I'll start a new thread....
