Thinking about getting a Harness bar/ Roll bar custom made rather than bought online.
Any suggestions on a reputable shop that has experience in custom welding cages?

I was just thinking this myself. I noticed Summit sells main hoops for about $45, of course it will need some modification since I think they are designed for old school muscle cars. I was thinking about getting the closest in dimension to my GC, trimming it, and getting some pipes from work for the rear cross bar. I also have a harness bar that's been cur in half ready to be sleeved together and welded I can weld to the main hoop by taking some off of the sides.

Cost doing it that way would be roughly $100 seeing as I have piping, plates, and welding material at work.

If I go this route soon I will be sure to document it. As far as your BRZ goes, I would suggest getting something that bolts in so you can resell if you grow out of it.

    Was thinking the same.
Leaning towards a good bolt on roll bar that has an integrated harness bar.
I see some BRZ harness bars going for 600!! :|

Doesn't CUSCO make a bolt in for the BRZ/FRS? SEBION also makes this awesome rear seat delete.

Cusco does and that is one of my options for a bolt in.
I was looking at the autopower 5 points as well!

That seat delete will probably need to be cut to fit the 5 point haha. Not willing to cut a $1600 piece of carbon :eek3:
