Well I traded in my 04 WRX for the 2013 BRZ Limited at Subaru Kennesaw and so far no regrets. This car definitely puts a smile on my face and makes me want to drive it everywhere. :wiggle:

Thanks for helping with the pic. I got frustrated and gave up haha. Yeah, there were three there but this one looked better and was the only automatic one. But dont worry I will be sure to enjoy every minute of it!

Congrats! I too also picked up a white '13 BRZ the other day!

 

I want to see one of these with OEM 11+ wrx wheels. I bet the look similar enough to the stock ones but so much better.

 

I was in a motorcycle accident when I was 19 that paralyzed my arm. Wish they made the new WRX auto or I would have gotten one of those.

Ok so I really hate chrome on cars and want to replace the taillights. I have two I am looking at.

Yeah they are haha. The only reason I was considering them is I don't see them on many of the FRS or BRZ and I like to be different. Just wasn't sure if they were to rice looking on the BRZ or not. Did your BRZ have chrome on the inserts on the fender? I see a lot with them painted the color of the car.

 

Yeah those. I didn't know if they came colored or if people were painting them to match the car. Its not that it looks bad I just really am not a fan of chrome.

 

Wait what.... So if i take it off.... it will already be color matched?

 

Well just bought some hawk ceramic pads for the car, getting steel brake lines next. Hopefully when my tax returns come in get some suspension upgrades and wheels.

 

Also went to allpro yesterday. They are some pretty nice guys. Does anyone have a recomended LED interior upgrade kit? They said most people just bring them leds and they put them in. I know nothing about them other than they are brighter so if anyone has a brand they trust let me know or if all leds are the same.

 

Interesting.. because every single Limited model comes with them i assumed it was a factory installed part. I guess from a manufacturing stand point it makes sense to just have them glued on at port or dealership :wtc:

 

If you are talking about the dome light, you can just pop the light out and replace with your LED of choice in about 5 minutes.
I did my dome light and license plate light in about 8 minutes.
Ill try to find the place i bought mine from.

I just ended up plastidipping mine black. I have pictures just havent been able to put them up yet.

 

Well I was to lazy to go take them off and my friend wanted to plastidip something so I let him do it. When it starts to peel im just going to take the entire thing off. I do however like the black accent better than it being the same color as the car so I may just paint them black and put them back on.

So last Sunday went up to Dahlonega. I told my girlfriend I wanted some scenic pictures with my car and it would give her a reason to start using the new camera. Little did she know my other plan was to tear up and down the mountain in between shots haha

I don't know that I could give up my WRX for a BRZ, but MAN I would love to have one.

 

Got the JDM Clear Side lights. Look a lot better than the orange ones.

 

Got the new springs in today! Waiting for the wheels to be here on friday and then will throw all of it on.

Got the wheels on last friday. They are 17x8.25 with the sportline Eibachs springs. Also put the Hawk pads on while the wheels were off. Sorry for the crappy pics Ill get better ones this month sometime on another mtn. run

Derek had major issues getting his alignment right after he lowered his but we don't have an awesome shop like Gran Turismo up here. However his Koni strut/RCE spring combo felt awesome!

 

Yeah I made the unfortunate mistake of driving through a parking deck in atl and scrubbed the front bumper when I was pulling out. I want a lip but am hesitant on it after that. Other than that isolated incident I have no clearance issues with the driveway or driving around the woodstock/cartersville area.

 

Get a poly lip...they can take a beating.
