out with the old in with the new(2000 rs wrx swap updated pics and video as some of u may know my wrx got totaled by a cop so after i got a check and kept my car i went searching for either a new bug eye or a coupe... well i found this 2000 auto 2.5rs for 1200 no rust still running but it is knocking horribly anyways we started the tear down of the wagon i rolled it out at night on dolleys and im not going to lie i felt a small part of me die when i saw it in the daylight done with the wagon now and forgot to take pics of the rs as we tore it apart
time to start the coupe welded the firewall for the heatercore and wiring harness(my first time welding with the guidance of a experienced welder) primed dash bar test fit dash cover test fit time for this little guy
it was in florence sc on craigslist under subaru rs automatic it had no pics and a number i almost didnt even bother texting the guy because i thought it wouldnt really be a rs.. but boy am i glad i did
and i picked up a few goodies thanks to allpro for the mirror and to cory for the minty ver7 sti seats
radiator gets here tuesday.... my headlight and tail lights dont work....... they have voltage but .... nothing
PARTS ARE HERE!!!! cobb rear shifter bushing and a cusco shift knob koyo radiator the new slimer one jpm coach works shift boot ppicked it up from KGraska
i got to drive it today!!!! it put a huge smile on my face and i drove it with the windows down all the way from carrollton to alphretta to allpro in the cold so brandon could wire the doors and make sure everything looked ok no pics yet ill have it back friday or saturday and then pictures and videos
