Alright guys, its only been about a month since i got the new set of wheels and this morning my stupidity got that best of me and I took my eyes off the road for a sec to charge my phone, then curbed the crap out of one of the wheels..

Question is, what shop do you guys recommend to repair the wheel?

I called Wheel Wizard to see how much they would charge per wheel and they said $250 WTFFFFFFFF so yeah they are overpriced

Then i was recommended to Metro Wheels and they said roughly around $150 and that includes dismounting, mounting, and wheel balance..lifetime warranty
    http://www.metrowheels.net/services-repair/wheel-repair-reconditioning.aspx

Also have you guys heard of Alloy Wheel repair specialist of Atlanta?
    http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/atlanta/services.php
They charge $155 and includes everything as well

So have you guys had any experience with any of these repair shops?

The wheel alone looks pretty bad, since the wheel is white :wtc:

Joe did my Acura wheels back when I had it and just recently did some 991 BBS wheels for a friend. They both turned out great. Joe is awesome.

I used Joe a few times...the last time I tried to get a wheel repaired, he told me to meet him at the dealership at ~5pm one day. I showed up, he was no where to be found, I called him several times, left voicemails, not a single return call. At all...even after the fact.
I will not use him again.

Another member on here suggested Mason from Redline Rim Repair. I called him. He came to me!..at work. I'm upstairs working, he was repairing, called me when he was done, I went down and gave him money. Super convenient. Great work

If Joe doesn't answer or return your calls, try Mason, 678-451-3500

Really? I thought 250 sounded average for a rim repair. It was my understanding the prices start from 150 but I guess not. Please let me know because I need to fix the Rohana RC10s on my girlfriend's genesis

with both Joe and Mason, I paid about 70-80 bucks per wheel, so that seems the going rate

this was my most recent damage...sometime last year.

from what I recall, Mason charged me 70.

Now, let me step back a moment...Joe's work is flawless. I couldn't even tell anything was ever damaged, paint and all.

Mason's work was flawless too, but the paint sheen was just a hair off. I think that is because the day he fixed my wheel, it rained later on in the day and stayed rainy for a while, so I think that affected it a little. It's still pretty hard to tell unless you're up close looking at it and know what you're looking for. (I'm anal)

Alright guys surprisingly Joe called me back today and apologized for the inconvenience, since he has slammed at the dealership and has been backed up..but he decided to fit me into his schedule today to repair my wheel and WOW you guys were right! The work/paint itself blends in so well you don't even notice that the wheel has been damage! So if anyone needs any work done Joe is the guy for you, whenever hes free of course!

Sorry for the bad before/after pictures but here ya gooo

Depending on damage i would say $70-80 bucks which is a lot cheaper then most places, Joe is a really cool guy, he maybe hard to get in touch with but once you do you'll realize that he is a busy man...If anyone is looking to fix a curb rash then you should def contact him.

And as for time? He says he can get a 1 wheel done within 10min to an 1hr, but it all depends on the damage

I would say it took him about 1hr:45mins for my wheel because he said that the curb rash was very deep and we both got sidetrack and kept talking about his previous cars especially his 1972 El Camino and how he modded the crap out of it LOL
