    Stock everything, tune included.

So I noticed the other day. During 80-100% ish throttle, the turbo will be pushing about 16psi for about a second or 2 then drop back down to where it is supposed to be stopping at (14.5psi ish)

I am ok with boost creep as long as its tuned, boost creep is STU legal.:naughty:

My concern is un-tuned boost creep. Causing the motor to run to lean... :eek:hnoes:

So does the stock tune factor in boost creep? Danger Will Robinson? :eek:hnoes:

I did some reading on NASIOC, and the ever so knowledgable internet says this is caused by the internal waste gate doesnt flow very well causing it not to bleed off the waste as it is supposed. This makes sense, but is it actually what is happening.

Learning is good, make learning happen.

What gear were you in and at what RPM when this happened?

Isn't it too hot now to be experiencing boost creep?

What you describe is overboosting, or overshooting boost target. I saw this all the time with my stock tune when I had it for those 3 days before flashing LOL.

Boost Creep is when you are 100% throttle, holding 14.5psi, and as you start climbing the rev range the boost slowly starts creeping up creeping up and doesn't stop until you let off.

I think this is normal. Boost will peak and then settle at the target boost range as the rpm's increase. Best way to get rid of it and hold a steady boost psi is ewg if I recall.

James is correct and so is Sparta. You could try and port your wastegate but be happy that your car is actually making target boost. The factory tune should be fine as it will compensate for a slight over boost. I wouldnt worry about it.

Cobb has a map for that. But like others said...I wouldn't worry about it right now. EWG and porting isn't something you are going to do with the stock turbo.

Where did you find the 3.40 maps? I just went to the Cobb site and still only see 3.33.
