So my 2006 2.5i has been consuming oil for a few months now.

Had headgaskets replaced by Allpro earlier this year. But it still consumes oil.

No visible drips or pools of oil under the car. No obvious blue smoke coming out the tailpipe.

What else should I look for to find the cause of this consumption?

How much oil are we talking about here?

A quart every tank a gas or 2 quarts per 5000 miles?

if you have oil in the intake tract it's rings and or valve seals are shot. Did you have the heads refreshed when you had HG's installed?

I am unsure the exact amou of consunmption. The wife drives the car, so she forgets to check. However, I am sure it is more than a quart every 5000 miles. Closer to a quart every few weeks.

I beleive Allpro resurfaced the heads. Don't know if that involved any other refreshing.

Odds are these things that b reel mentioned are your problems.

The valve seals are the most likely candiate.
