I try avoid water injection if possible lol Plus it does t have ac so when it rains it fogs up and I end up soaked, not my idea of fun.... but I will if I have to
6766 or hta86 = more torque? i would have thought you'd be somewhere north of 650 torque. E85 right? Edit: I think you made 501tq or something on your dom1.5 you beat me by 2mph with didn't you? Not trashing at ALL just curious. Obviously you've nearly double the peak HP.
Just a little update. Testing launch control in front of our shop before FL2K, the front diff exploded out of the trans case. I normally have so little spare time to build my own car I let it sit for a couple months. Well the trans is back together with the clutch upgraded to the biggest dics competition makes. I also oringed my heads and had the port work gone through by headgames while Andrewtech assembled the diff. Putting it back together hopefully rhis week and turning it up more!
Yea it's all for fun and stress relief so I don't kill myself to make it happen! I also found the limit of the iag race catch can. So instead of modifying the iag piece, I sold that and we built one in house. Being a honda guy at heart, I used what all the big 4 digit Hondas use. Lots of volume while venting to atmosphere! Every valve cover port and crank case port all vent separately. Also used a size larger hose on each port so there is no restriction at any port.
Saw another guy with an 08 at all pro with an exploded front diff / trans case. Is this a new 6spd weak point we are discovering? He was only like 400wtq too, but did the 1/4 mile every weekend.
You're supposed to lock the center diff when launching. I believe the center diff locks at WOT in stock form. But I pedaled mine a bit to get it to hook and then with sticky DR you'll find it'll transfer power side to side attempting to eliminate wheel slip. Pretty much making the system lose its mind. So if you manually lock the center diff it'll help prevent that
Yeah I used to lock mines for red light launches, then try to make a U-turn and forget it was locked. Many face palms later I started remembering.

I mean torque is determined by how quickly it comes up. Plus Taylor regulates all of that given that torque is what splits blocks in half Full boost by 5500 should be awesome on a 103lb/min turbo Turning it up a bit more this morning, stay tuned
