Please anyone I want to know what oil I should use on new STI. I have read that it should be changed after the first 1,000 miles. I have heard good things about Schaeffers 9000 supreme. Any suggestions and why you chose that oil? Also spring is coming so maybe a 5w-40 for the upcoming heat ?
Did you buy it here in GA? Brand new car why not take it to the dealership and take advantage of the first free few oil changes
Yes, I bought it here in Ga and I had a wrx so I'm familiar with the free oil changes. I was wondering what oil you guys use on your WRX or STI? I hear Schaefers supreme 9000 is good, and motul. They use Mobil 1 at the dealer. I don't know how true this is but I read in one of these forums that changing the oil after the first 1,000 miles is good on a new car.
