1. What is the stock max psi on the turbo for an '06 STI? 2. What are yhe dif. between the '06 and '07 STi ? THANKS !
There are both visible and "invisible" differences between 06 and 07 stis...I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in though. 07 sti has longer gearing, different turbo, different injectors.
when i spoke to scott, he said definitely get the 07 for the gearing and diff alone. so i did this is what i've experienced so far and/or have heard: the "wire" throttle is jumpy, even after it "learns" it still appears jumpy, and acceleration is not smooth under WOT - you WILL need engine management. i've heard two different things about the control arms 1) they're jdm aluminimum (not c-spec though) and 2) may not be that way for long (so get one earlier than later) i believe the gearing is longer in 2, 3, and 4 - which is a good thing cowl braces have been made stiffer - good sway bars are 1mm thinner - not so good (but who the hell keeps them stock? lol) caster has been reduced a touch - not so good stereo has direct mp3 hookup - really nice EM is much "deeper" - which may mean more can be tuned/tweaked
