that would be an awesome caravan :D... hopefully my schedule will allow me... i usually don't go out of atl for autocross events since it takes a significant time commitment... maybe i'll make an exception for the subaru challenge

Yeah, I don't know either, they are far away, I might plan a vacation in September which would put me in PA around the 9/17 one. Maybe I will go there and represent wrxatlanta. I will have to see though.

    That would be fun.

I'm mad that they decided not to have it in Atlanta this next year because it was fun when I showed up this year.

Surprising that with the amount of Subaru owners in Atlanta, they would not have it here again. There have to be more Subaru's in Atlanta than in Greenville or Baltimore.

Yeah, it seems to me they would be better off having it in an area with higher population density, but I guess they want to be "fair" to those who live farther away from Atlanta. Though it does seem to pull the location away from a centralized place. Seems to me Atlanta is more accessible than just about anywhere else in the southeast....

what he said at the meet was that they want more customer involvement from the carolinas= they wanna sell more to those guys. An event like the subaru challenge brews customer loyalty which is extremely valuable to a company expecially when most of us have a lot of car buying years left. They know a decent amount of people from atlanta will drive because we're already hooked. Now they can get the carolina boys to come out a whole lot easier and make more money. :tasty:

If you've ever visited Asheville (hour and 1/2 north of Greenville), every other car you see is a Subaru. They have a very active Subaru community there. So, with Asheville and Atlanta to draw from, Greenville is a pretty central location.
