I will use this thread for submissions for next year's calendar. The goal is to have it ready well in time for x-mas shopping. The calendars are 12 months at 8.5 x 11 image size. Depending on the amount of photos submitted i will offer one calendar or perhaps two versions. The months will be either one car or multiple cars on the same month. I expect each month to not be a carbon copy layout of the others, i.e., different fonts, colors and themes will be used to compliment the photos. Requirements: The ideal image format is 2300 pixels wide by 1800 pixels tall (landscape, not portrait) I will attempt to work with smaller size/lower res images but I'm not making any promises Active WRXAtlanta.com forum member & owner - others need not apply, this is for us, not wayward transients We took a lot of time developing a balanced calendar for 2006 versions. Even though you may love the pic you submitted I may not be able to work it into the format...(hint: be creative! ) Submission: Photo(s) of your SUBARU (no girls hanging their boobs over the hood either, you can send those...for my pleasure.) More than one photo of your car in different areas or angles is better - don't worry about my email bandwidth Your member name = forum screen name and first name & last name Location or event relating to the photos A quote from you for the image in case there is space Anything creative you'd like to share about the photo or preference as to primary and secondary selections If you're thinking "collage" then submit creative photos of your ride and what makes it unique or special Submit your photos to "matt (dot) shiring @ gmail.com" with the subject line "2012 WRXAtlanta.com Calendar". PLEASE don't submit photos if you have not read this entire message. SUBMISSION END DATE = November 1, 2011 I will not own your photos, as well as I will not release them after they have been developed properly for the calendar. You will not be compensated monetarily for your photo submissions. I plan to do a test calendar with submissions once i get 6-8 good photos. i need to have a good look at the quality of the calendar before deciding on the final designs for the pages. I like the sound of this Gotta step up my game and figure out something. Also, could be a good motivator to try to do a serious planned group shot

Pretty sure you'll get outvoted and over-ruled on submissions.... Perhaps not because people don't like "other" cars, but more so as it just doesn't fit

I'm hoping we get enough people sumbitting their pictures to make TWO calendars. We'll see if we even get 12 separate people though. :| 3 down, 9 to go! Or maybe we'll make an 18 month calendar. we'll see
i'd say lets get jeff doing some shots (if hes up for it, maybe even a few other photogs here, TOUA) and maybe buy him a few beers. but idk about doing it all at the same event...or else we'd have a bunch of cars in the same setting for each month.
