90s model 2.5rs

    I know alex just bought one, and i think SS got one. My question is where the heck can you find these bad boys? i want either a 2dr or 4dr 2.5rs 95 or newer with the hood scoop and fogs. Im actually trading the rex in soon and want to stay in the subi family but am having a rather difficult time finding a 2.5 on autotrader.

    The RS wasn't made until 98. You could buy an older L and swap on an RS bumper and hood, but the L interiors are rather ugly. Look for a 98 or 99 RS. Also the 4dr wasn't made until 2000.

    They are very hard to come by period. I think most would agree that they are the best looking Impreza so far, and because of that, the people that have them are not getting rid of them. Good luck on your search Bigb.

    You could buy an L or Brighton and swap on a RS bumper and hood.

    might end up having to do that. Either way im gonna continue to be a part of the subaru community even if i do it riding a bike with subaru stickers on it haha.

    the early L models and Brighton models might be ugly in the beginning, but have much lighter chassis than an RS, and can house a JDM swap of any year quite well. if you get something pre-96 then no worries on emissions in GA.

    You're not alone, i never see other RS's but i don't usually go to the Marietta area, so that's why you probs aint seen me. I'm usually all around the Sandy Springs/buckhead/a-town area and soon to be almost completely around the Athens area :naughty:

    I saw a guy in a black RS sedan the other day..honked at him and he looked at me like he'd never seen another RS around. He was dumbstruck AND excited all at once. :lol:

    I never see another RS around here. Kinda sucks, but it is also kinda cool to be unique! :D

    I would buy a 99 or 00 RS if I had the mula in a heartbeat...You know I like your car Matt, after that great ride on Rt.28....That was a total blast...It is a very cool car. BTW, did Josh ever sell his car?.

    Josh has a guy who wants it, but hasn't done anything about it....scratch that, he has about 3 guys who want the car now. He already bought his new car though.....
