ok so i was coming home just minutes ago from taking my fiancee to work and i here a loud annoying buzz, i think maybe it's this kid withh an rx-8 that chirps when he shifts gears(hehe) that stays in the neighborhood. but no it's an evo. an ugly evo, this thing had so much chrome and pink on the side of it, it looked like it hit the ghetto doing 140. it was so god awful it made this athiest pull over and say "forgive him lord for he knows not what he does." anyway, i catch up to him in a block or two and i see that the biggest decal says battlefield and the others are gt35r and exedy etc. so maybe his mechanic atleast knows what he is doing. anyhow i wave and the jerkoff just stares. like he wants to do something to me. anybody kknow who this is so i can find out if i had something on my face or something
Not to flame EVO drivers (okay, maybe a little...) they seem to be less into cars in general and more into "the evo scene" in particular. They don't smile and wave to other AWD vehicles in my exeperience. I happen to love the way the evo looks, but, several of the local EVO drivers leave much to be desired. I have been reved on by at least two in the Lawrenceville area, in the middle of the day, with my daughter clearly in the back seat...
I get most of the waving out of my system on the motorcycle. I've only got enough left for Impreza's. I wouldn't want to encourage all the cars I see everyday with bondo'd body kits and big exhausts.
lol. i agree i don't typically wave at rice, just understated or tasteful cars in our realm, but this guy was givin hard lookss and im not the type to give the bird
I don't hate on Evo owners or even people with SRT-4's... simply because I know that they are both make serious power for a small displacement engine. Plus I think with soldiers you automatically have that brotherhood thing so I have friends who drive any number of different sport compacts.
Did it look like this? That's Batlground's evo, I'm not sure what the specs are on it but it's pretty fast.

Yeah. I figure if I'm discriminating against people just because they happen to be in an EVO or whatever at the moment, then I'm no better than the assholes who don't wave or look down on me because of what I'm driving. Sure there's a little rivalry, but it's a healthy kind. I mean what true car enthusiast doesn't like a little competition?

Just from MY CURRENT EXPERIENCE I have to say that I havent passed an Evo driver who was acting friendly....I'm not saying anything but I'm just sayin...lol. But seriously...I had one next to me on 85 tonight....same thing as always just a different driver. They come up next to you and let you hear the BOV...thats how they always get the attention, and then they dont even look at you. Next they just drive away. I swear....its the same everytime. Grrrrrr.
brianGT drives an evo and he's cool. i always get asshat ricers in rush hour traffic that drive up next to me and act like they want to play. there's no where to go! stop driving like a retard!!! also their exhaust sounds like nails on a chalkboard, just stop.
