AC removal write up

    Did you know you take the AC out of a Subaru in 5 minutes. If anyone needs help let me know.

    If I had a Spec C roof I'd so take the AC out....even if it is a street car

    eh maybe if I lived in New England. A roof vent doesn't really help when you're sitting in Atlanta traffic on a 95 degree day.:hs:

    the dyno pod? like 500 lbs.

    It weighs a good bit, just removing the under hood stuff is about 20 lbs, if you remove the under dash stuff there is probally another 30-35lbs of stuff.

    Should be around 50lbs total for all the AC componets

    I'm assuming you are either (a) upgrading the air conditioning system or (b) not co-driving with THE Siegel anymore.

    LOL, I'm setting it up for quick removal.

    I'm about to V-mount the radiator and intercooler, and possibly flip the intake manifold. Oh and I'm putting a new motor in.

    Not yet, we will see what happens. Either way the car is getting a built motor.
