Trying to flash stage 1 93oct with an AP that I bought used. It seems I can't get past the initialization stage. I connected the green connectors, turn key to on, select map, hit ok, turn key off then back on, hit ok again.. then it says initializing with a flashing box underneeth and just sits in this mode forever. I've done this before, not sure what the issue is... The car IS in test mode as far as I know(fans cycling, check eng light flashing etc..)
Any suggestions???? I hope I'm just not waiting long enough but I don't think so.. there's supposed to be dots indicating progress and I have none after 20 minutes, just a flashing box.... Help!

I'm 99% sure its unmarried to the previous owners car... book says I would've gotten an error and a different screen when I first hooked it up. I don't think thats the issue...

I know this sounds like a blow off answer, but have you tried calling Cobb? I have had to contact them on a couple occasions and have always been very impressed with thier help staff. They are pretty dang good. Try giviing them a call. If he is available ask for Christian. He is one of the head guys up there and seems to know this stuff inside and out for the most part.

Cobb is great for customer service. If they're open this week definitely call them like crash said.

Yeah, I remember from my 03' AP. The 06' only has the green connectors, no jumper.
