    I thought you might be interested in this :) I also found a suede supplier here that knows what's up. I picked up about 14 sq ft and will be attacking the wheel next week. Cant wait :D

    saw it in pictures, it looks b.a.

    i dunno how the a pillars would look in blue, might be distracting as it is in your field of vision. for the steering wheel thats a diff story, a red might be nice as well
    alcantara comes in many different colors

    you actually cant use alcantara on the wheel, and i will let alex explain why. this is geniune suede

    actually you can, it is just quite difficult since you can't stretch it

    Compare that BMW wheel to the Subaru wheel, I would like you to look closely at the 9 and 3 o clock, notice how long the "arm" is compared to the BMWs. Its this section in particular that poses the issue when using Alcantara.

    If you notice in the interior cabin photos, you can see that the driver's visor is a little different. In fact, its more than a little, its a completely re-designed (a la its no longer a Subaru quality bend-in-your-hand visor).

    I like how alcantara works so well for the interior of the wrx. It's just a.....fast....material. Idk how else to say it.
