I'm on Rotella right now but as it gets colder & switching to a lighter weight Amsoil is my first choice just because Motul is so damn expensive. Great synthetic two thumbs up!

I order it on-line they have a websight. You can also find local dealers. Very popular with the racing community in the midwest both car and motorcycle.

i use it and its da shit~!

ive used 4-5 different tpypes of premium synthetic oils but this one is #1 on the list.

i used to have sticky pedals when the weather was cold or cold starts but not nomore.

and its easier to rev match when downshifting as well.

i reccomend this oil to everyone.

i get mine thru bob the oil guy and its 100$ for 2 oilchange worthes.

Is this really any better than German Castrol 0w30? I can find the GC at most autozones for $6 a quart.

I ran GC last winter and had no problems. I am running Rotella T right now and it seems that both oils function nearly as the same weight (minimal difference in oil pressure b/w the two). Our winters never have worried me, it is the summer thats the problem :)

I use Motul and love it. It is not the cheapest stuff but for my baby I can live with it. It's like $10.00 a quart.

Edit: Meh, nevermind. This constant worry over which oil works the best just always pisses me off.

I have a question for you guys... how do you know which oil "works" better?? I've switched from reg. dino, to Mobil 1, to Castrol syntec... The only thing I "know" is that my car doesn't like Mobil 1(burns up quick). Other than that, dino/synthetic all comes out black after 3k, and I've never felt any diff. in power or anything. I use Castrol syntec cuz its only $20 for a 5 qt jug and it gives me peace of mind. But, I'm coming to the conclusion that unless your autocrossing/tracking frequently, it doesn't make too much of a diff. as long as you change every 3k....

well... we do mt runs/trackdays/autox. not to mention ricer fly bys...

and we often race on tracks like 85, 400, 75, occasionally 285.
    :p

mainly we are worried about the fact that even if its the same intervals between changes the wear on the engine might be different.
