Does anyone know if the STi version 4 JDM (true EJ20) motor came with a catted uppipe? I can't find anywhere that states if the v4 did or did not come with the precat. Looking at the installed stock uppipe, it looks like it might have one, but I can't be sure. I know this engine didn't come over here, but maybe someone knows.... I want to get rid of it if it is there, but don't want to take it off to look if I don't have to.
I don't think they did. They only added the precat to the 2002 models for US emissions. Did you get that engine installed at Batlground by chance?
