I have a strange knocking sound coming from the left front, mainly going slow over sharp bumps. It sounds like something solid is hitting something else that is solid. I hope it isn't this, but it sounds like the steering shaft hitting the firewall... And another thing, I've had the car about 9 months now and the pleather on the e-brake boot is peeling, is that under warranty?
The knocking is likely a loose top or bottom nut on the strut. The peeling pleather is under warranty no problem (all Subaru defects are replaced under Subaru warranty ) SS
