ATTN: 06 STi owners

    not sure if this applies to all the 06 STi's or any of the other model years...

    my STi has plastic motor mounts... will @ SOG said these could shatter under hard launching or hard shifting... i will be upgrading to STi group N mounts as soon as possible

    I wonder if the WRX has the same mounts. It is basically the same engine.

    I mean, I really cant forsee one of us breaking them as we dont put the car through enough abuse. As you'll find out though Milo, group n mounts are amazing :)

    plastic eh? thats crazy for the amount these things cost new.

    Don't forget about the plastic pitch stop as well.
    Lots of those breaking from heavy footed take-off's.

    If i remember correctly, '06 STi's have plastic. '06 WRX have metal ones. I think it was because people were complaining that the metal ones were too loud.
