autoX in dallas

    i might be going to an autoX here in dallas this sunday... i have heard u can hit speeds of >90mph here :bowdown: ... i'll let u guys know how that goes if i make it

    90??? Thats what...4th gear in an STi?

    well, my manager drives a 97 4 door m3 that makes ~240hp at the crank... he said he hits 90mph almost everytime... i have a lot more power so i wonder how fast i could get... i probably should upgrade my brake pads first

    im back to autocrossing :fawk: .... and losing to civics :wtc:

    You could run in BSP instead, so you can lose to Stompy, instead of to civics.

    Sweet, glad you were able to work that out with them. So is Auto X it, or can you still go to Tally, Mountain Runs, Dragstrips and other stuff.

    im only going to take part in activities that present minimal danger to me... so i'll autoX and drag race... no mountain runs, but i will do picnics... probably no track

    i know tally is safe... but i have been there 2 times and both times i have had severe brake issues and have had to drive home without braking power... i think tally is bad luck for me

    CMP is safe and doesn't kill tires as bad
