Avic f700BT Install pics

    How i installed the USB input and the Mic( for phone calls and voice rec).. They both work well... I also plug in my IPhone Data cable there for music..

    Where the cable comes out in the next image...

    ipod/iphone AV cable


    This allows me to use the USB port for a thumb drive when i want ....and my iphone when i feel like it.

    Very nice and clever install! I dont know how you have the mic positioned under the drilled holes but if you have any issues with background noise while driving, the tiny holes on the side of the mic are for noise cancellation and must be exposed. I've had issues with call clarity in a few similar installs and found that angling the mic about 60 degrees under the panel does the trick. Nice ddin btw :bigthumb:

    people say they can hear me fine.. though i should prob cut a circle out and expose the entire mic...
