    Man the two reviews on that site for the thing were horrible though. But that IS a phenomenal discount!

    Yeah, those are for the old firmware :)

    2.0 fixed most of those issues

    The stock opening is wider than the standard double DIN opening. You can buy a cheaper kit that will fill the gap but that link I posted will get you the JDM factory piece so it just looks better.

    Notice that the second pic that there is no gap that a spacer has to fill in.

    not bad at all. all you will need is a wiring harness. you can mount it with the brackets that are attatched to the factory radio (iso-din). Dont forget to power up your antenna or you'll get a crappy radio signal.. your ground wont be in the harness its plugged into the side of the right radio bracket. visit avic411.com to figure out how to bypass the brake wire. it usually involves moving a wire to an adjacent pin which is vacant, probably the yellow/black wire in the aux out plug(if you wanna play dvd while driving) hope this isnt too much info lol

    But yes, this is a great deal. This thing SUCKED when the firmware wasnt out. Its ownage now.

    Not my setup. Its just some examples I found in IWSTI. You can see that the 08+ has a larger opening than the GD cars(02-07). That is why we need the filler or to change to the JDM trim piece.

    Lmao just give me a call if you have any questions..my shop doesnt deal pioneer anymore so i would have to look up the bypass myself. Or if you dont mind riding out to my house ill help ya install it. I cant really travel out cause I have too many cars to finish here. Ben (404) 291-8402

    Cool! I havent had the luxury of working on an 08 yet. We did, however, put a sunroof in one :unamused:, so I got to drool over it then lol

    I think the screen on that model is smaller than my AVIC-D3. I LOVE my D3.

    Yeah, it is but the resolution is 800*480

    this is the successor to the d3
