back fire

    hey guys i had a loud loud backfire the problem is that im runing a stock 04 sti is that normal

    The other day you said you wanted to backfire.

    As far as the problem goes...I dont believe that an STi with stock exhaust would produce an audible backfire without any other obvious symptoms such as loss of power, hitting fuel cut, etc. And I would think that any of the symptoms I just mentioned would set a CEL.

    Also, it is afterfire, not backfire.
