What does it sound like when you have a bad tranny or engine mount? I get a lot of wheelhop/clutch chatter from my lovely SPEC clutch. It is so bad sometimes that it feels like something it loose or almost like an axle has popped out. COuld the constant chatter have caused my tranny/engine mounts to go bad?
I would think that a visual inspection should tell you if the mount is busted.Just push up on trans and see if its split.
yeah, it is either the trans mount or the driver side axle is busted. I will take a look at it this weekend.
Couldn't find anything obvious. Trans mont looks ok and so does the axle. ANyone know what mount/bushing would be affected the most by wheel hop? It seems like it is coming from the center front of the car....leaning more towards the driver side center though.
Awesome! Well, I have a new 06+ Wrx Clutch/Flywheel conversion for my car. I guess I will be putting it in when the new motor gets put in.
