Hey! I am new to the forum...and new to Subaru.

I recently bought a 05 Baja for a good deal and need to work on the interior.

Any advice? Or should I just take it one by one?

Here are some items I want to improve:
    - carpet is all worn and ugly. It needs to be replaced or DEEPLY cleaned.
    - The seats have a few rips in them and are a little worn (not too bad). I would like to reupholster or see if I can find new/custom seats.
    - The headliner needs to be redone. I have done this before in other cars...but want to keep it as close to original as possible.

    - Finally...I need a better sound system...This I can handle on my own, but if there are any tips or tricks to getting it in and out...I'm open.

I will work on the exterior and the engine/suspension once I am comfortable with the interior upgrades.

Thanks in advance to anyone listening and willing to give me some tips on where to acquire some of these items.

    Thanks!!
    J

If you need the interior steamed cleaned, Headliner wrapped, Custom interior. And Stereo upgrades let us know we can get you set up right!

    Take care!

As far as the stereo goes, my 02 WRX is probably the easiest stereo I have come across to remove. I can only guess the Baja is similar. I would try to find a service manual to give you guidance. There is a WRX / STI one here. Not sure where to find a Baja one though.

Legacy based car, maybe the seats? Don't know about those, everything else is a no go.

As for your original questions, there are more than a few capable vendors, Alex for one that can do the work. As there are quite a few DIY's that are more than competent to help or guide you if wish to take on the task yourself. Quite an active group that take kindly to beer or food bribes, but one in particular has a preference to "iced-coffee" Just ask or come to one of the G2G's

    Thanks

As far as I know, the STI interior will not swap in. But I am not 100% sure.
