beeping

    i heard that whenever you rev light comes on it suppose to beep also. For some reason my car never beeps when the rev light comes on. is there sumthing i need t turn on or sumthing. thanks

    i dont know about evo's but sti's do!

    If your're evo bait do you have an STI or WRX with an STI cluster?

    If it's an STI the beep on/off selectable

    To do this on the STI cluster:

    1) Reset the rev-light range then wait approx 3 seconds after turning knob for the rev thingie to switch into the audable alert entry mode.

    2) Turn clockwise to enable the rev-alarm or counterclockwise to disable the rev-alarm

    i had this problem... the dash displays prompts where the outside temp is. i never saw it b/c of the stock boost gauge. one of the prompts is for the beep, after setting the rpm.
