    If a scratch is to the metal, is it true that there is no fix except to take the entire panel down to the metal also?

    I have used touch up paint and then wet sanded with a super fine sand paper.Looks pretty good.I think a body shop would be able to blend it.They would prob. paint the whole panel to hide the color difference but I do not think that it would all have to be taken down to the metal..
