    Hooray for lawyers.

I recently got a speeding ticket in NC for 87 in a 65. The lawyer I got managed to get it reduced to improper equipment.

It was well worth the money seeing as though I would have had to driven to pretty much the Va-NC border to appear in court. Any ticket that is 15 over in NC requires a court appearance.

    NC troopers own me.

I have lived in Va or Ga all my life and all my tickets have happened in NC. I think they must be out to get me.:squint:

It's been a running joke with my family that I should drive around it. From now on my wife will be doing all the driving in NC

VA use to be a joke when it came to speeding tickets, I swear when I lived there, I racked up 7 or 8. Atleast when I was in Highschool there, it was automatic $30 plus like 3$ for every mile over the posted limit. I use to get tickets ranging from $40 to $70. I remember they use to give you a sheet with all these prices on it, for the different speeds, and infractions. That was one of the few things I loved about the Commonweath.

MD state troopers and VA state troopers are really tough on speeding, at least in the Metro DC area....

i received 2 trespassing citations from DC cops.. skateboarding. They are really strict, and that was pre-9/11.

I use to live in Richmond, VA.. no, I'm not from there, I lived with my dad up there all through highschool. During the summer, I would go up to McLean and stay there at a friends house who went to Georgetown. There was a metro stop right across the street from his house.
