Boost gauge install question

    yes another thread for this. Really all i need is a picture of someones under hood so i can see how you tapped the hose into the vacuum line. I bought an autometer mechanical boost gauge and am wanting to see the best way to plug it up.

    wow thanks man that explained it all easily. I appreciate that. What is best to T it off with? is there some kinda piece i can buy?

    Yeah you can get a vacuum t connector from napa or someplace like that. make sure you get the right size, which if i remember is 1/4 inch ID.

    I used a SS reducing tee - 1/4" to 1/4" to 1/8". The tubing ID that ran from the 'T' to the sensor was just a bit larger than 1/8". Nothing a zip tie didn't fix.

    I ordered from McMaster as it was the only place I could find a small tee. It's product number 5670K35 on page 117. Same size tee, but different material 5117K33 on page 114. www.mcmaster.com
