boost preasure

    i am of course a newb to my new car, i was just wondering if it is normal to drop down to like 6 psi when you hit 6krpms?

    it seems to lose power when i hit 5750-7000rpms.

    not really sure... didn't have the boost gauge until it was pretty modded

    you really shouldn't drop below 10psi at red.....

    mine was the same way. i guess its in the stock ecu so your not slammin that much torque into your gearbox when shifting into the next gear. thats also why i got my mbc. it holds boost til around 6500 but still drops off after that. there isnt alot left in the car from 6300 on really anyway(besides damage).

    I talked to Scott at SoG and he said the stock ECU is set to drop to about 7PSI at 7K RPM

    yeah i think thats to protect from overboosting in case you overrev the engine. i never really turn mine that high anyway tho.
