Driving from Snellville to Doraville Sunday. Pretty much every station was $2.38-2.40 for 93 . The BP on Hugh Howell off of 78 had it for $2.29. The Chevron on 124 had it for $2.34

Is the octane at those BP's actually 93? The BP over here on North Ave. was tested and rated only at 89.

I have never had an issue with them, I usually fill up at BP's. Hardly ever at Chevron's. Occasionally at shell.

So guys, those of you who can see the data, are there any consistent differences between brands of gas? I mean is one (like maybe BP mentioned previously in another post) always bad, or just the one station mentioned? Is Shell or Citgo or QT or any of those any better or worse consistently enough to avoid one brand and prefer another?

    I would love to know!

    Thanks...

i try to avoid shady lookin gas stations... from the AM reading on the monitor, the best gas I think ive gotten is at chevron... sometimes QT is good too... BP, Shell and Amoco seem to pull the AM down more frequently

yeah Chevron is good and QT is good... I don't fill up anywhere but there. I put BP in once and the car ran like crap, same with Shell (V-power) is really bad too. I always pull negative knock when bad gas is in. Hope that helps...
