Axxis pads work great but they are VERY dusty. Most people seem to highly recommend the Hawk HPS and from what I understand they aren't that dusty. I think I am going that route. I just have to decide whether to get SS lines or not. Would SS lines benefit me at all? I rarely track the car and it is mostly my git er done daily driver.

HPs aren't that dusty, i've run them for a little while on stock calipers/rotors. they weren't even that bad after some track time.

ss lines=more positive pedal feel (and of course the antibulge for high temp/track conditions) couldn't hurt and they really aren't that expensive.

Well in my experience with the HPS, I would not buy them again. Now, this has to do with a few factors. I think theyre a great pad, but I have been asking more and more out of the car as my tracking abilities increase and I think the HPS no longer is what I want for the track. Now, that goes without saying that I will be buying a pad specifically for tracking the car, not for street use.

When I first had the Hawks they had a very strong initial bite but I feel like its worn off over time. As you know, I'm also running SS lines. They dont take very long to warm up if you can 2 feet drive for a few minutes, but if not, they still stop as they should.

Yes, they're dusty. But, you dont have STi wheels so why should dust bother you? :p I think the HPS dust more than stockers once they're warm, I cannot compare any other pads though as this is all Ive had on the car.

I know that if price is a concern, Sakari was offering a few deals last month on hawk pads so that could be a route to consider.

^^^ Sounds like you need to step up to the Hawk HP+ pads. I LOVE mine on the track and as a daily pad. They can be a lil noisy for daily use sometimes but I don't care.
