Also, I have some bumper road rash... once from a parking curb... and again from a fence... small stuff, mark it up as absent minded parking... point is that the paint is scraped (not cleanly, either) all the way down to the black bumper (on my CGM 2005 sti) and I want to know what my options are? I am thinking "most bang for your buck"... any thoughts?

do you know how much it costs to get it repainted? and is there a way (maybe a 2 or 3 stage kit) that I can economically sand, paint, and clear it myself?

I had my front bumper painted for $250 at hotwheels in Marietta.

If you want to do it your self, I've painted bumper before on my old car and sideskirts on my wrx, you need a big enough air compressor, spray gun, primer, adhesive, paint, clear, hardner and lots of sand paper.

    Good luck!

Depending on the area that is scuffed, you may be able to cover it with a chin spoiler. The cost of which, will be less than repainting.
