This is not really a "hey who was that?", but more of a...wtf?

I saw a C6 convertible vette this morning getting on 400 at mansell and off at haynes bridge. Light flurries, 24 degrees....and he's got his top down. BOLD.

    Just thought I'd share

I used to do that in my Miata - blast the heater, put on some driving gloves, and enjoy the looks from people who think you're a nutcase (which you totally are)!

When I was living in PA, my roommate bought a Sebring convertible in the middle of winter. The first night he had the car, we got a massive snow storm. We decided to go out for a drive with the top down. It was quite fun, and oh the looks we got from everybody that we passed that day.

the top got stuck down in my wife's TT roadster late one night in the winter, I think it was in the teens that night. We were using it for night driving shots of other cars.

By the time I got back to Dunwoody form the airport area I was so cold my body temperature was set to constant chill.

Turns out for the TT the grease form the motors got so thick it couldn't move the top!

I love it. You're not that cold if the heat is blasting and you're moving :)

its still nothing compared to riding a motorcycle in 20degree weather at 70mph.

whats the calculation on a 70mph wind chill at 20degrees?

So, why was the top doing down in the winter time in the first place to become "stuck"?
