I like Viper alarms. When properly installed, they are quite good. My remote has taken a BEATING! Broken, dropped, gone in water. Still works. Not saying that these are advertised to take that abuse, just what mine has been through.

lmao i didnt think u'd actually ask. well, of all the recently released 2-way alarms from Viper its the best functioning one. Quick response from a button press being the biggest improvement over the others. Since my shop first got them in I've installed 60 or so of them and absolutely ZERO have come back or have had any problems. Its my favorite of the new Vipers.

The WORST IMO is the 5701...the remotes are crap and after about a month the paint will be chipping off of it and it will look really old lol. There is a sizeable delay when you press buttons and when the alarm is triggered the remote is doing so much it can be difficult to disarm (may have to press unlock a few times before it does anything)

I would still rate any Viper(DEI) product over any other manufacturers product...even the 5701. I hope this helps
