As a lot of you know, I studied abroad this summer in Europe (Paris, Florence, Rome, Venice, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Brussels, Oxford, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Amsterdam). I tried to remember to take pictures of awesome/unique cars when I could. Unfortunately I often wasn't quick enough with my camera to catch some of them as they passed, but here are the ones I got.

Please note, that some of these pictures aren't great due to the fact that they were often taken while I was moving, the car was moving, or both.

Took this one because I had no idea what it was at the time.

Really crappy picture of the badass Alfa Romeo cop cars in Italy.

London definitely had the nicest selection of cars I saw in all of Europe (yes, better than Berlin, Germany)

What is this? Is this a Mitsu FTO from grand turismo? Kind of looks like someone took a previous generation Eclipse and mixed it with a Supra.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's an FTO. Haha, and yes, I agree.

haha I saw that exact same Forester STi when I was in Dublin over the summer. Oxford had some sick Evos and WRXs too. In Amsterdam a few years back I saw a few old school WRXs but nothing fancy.

did you head over to the ring? your guaranteed to see some awesome cars there! Although when I was there it mostly consisted of Porsche 911's (several GT2's) and a bunch of M3's, and most of the people there were British, heh.

Maybe I'll get around to showing some pics, couple Suby's there as well.

Did you take a close look at the high-end cars? When I was in London, I was doing the same kind of car-watching you were. I'd be checking out the then euro-only M5 etc and noticed that the expensive fast cars would have wheel chips, dings etc. Part of driving in London I'm sure but people definitely DRIVE the cars over there, not just shine them up for car meets.

yes, that's an FTO....it's a cross between an eclipse and 3000GT.

first car is a Fiat Barchetta. :D

and the R34 skyline looks like a baby kit car...almost looks N/A as well.

Yeah, I did see my fair share of STi's and Evos, I just generally didn't have my camera ready for them. I very nice looking Supra in Oxford a couple of times, just never with camera in hand. :(

I would have loved to, but couldn't work it out.

Agreed. Something looks wussy about it.

That's a possibility actually as that's not a R34 GTR, it's the more 'base' version. Ie: a R34 Gt or GT-t, depending on which one affects which engine is actually in the car. Most likely it had the 2.5l Rb25 engine in it though, not terribly powerful but probably gets the job done.

well, regardless of the motor, it's still an R34. It could be a GS-T, could be a GT. something still seems off with it

uh, I just said what was off about it. Notice the body work is far more conservative than an R34 GTR, because it's not actually a GTR model. The Skylines were made in several different variants, but most only remember/think about the GTR's.

    I know that...that's why I never said it was a GT-R. I merely said R34. :)

It's because the wheels are too small, the grill is crappy and aftermarket and it doesn't look like the super cool bumper. However, it would still fetch a pretty penny here.

The FTO's are a fun little car, shame they're fwd. I love the baller status of the cars in London, it's getting quite ridiculous.

Love the Subie pic from Dublin. Ha'penny bridge in the background, Central Bank over on the south side. And just down river from Guinness's. Ah, the memories. :wtc:
