If it's anything like the wrx/sti, it should work fine. I know exhausts are compatible for the turbo engines (2.0 and 2.5) from 2002 to 2007. I can't say for sure in your situation, but I'd give it a most likely.

I feel like they may have rotated the cat in 05/6 to allow for a bolt up wrx exhaust and that would mean that it isnt a direct bolt on

    i think you'll be OK.

the header and cat setup on the '06 and '07 cars is different but from the cat back i think they are the same.

the 08+ cars are probably not compatible at all in any way.

just curious, what system are you looking at?

The gasket in front of the front intermediate pipe looks strange. I have never seen any gaskets like that, but that doesn't mean much. It should be compatible if it came off another WRX like everyone has said. All the impreza catbacks are almost the same, besides the RSR.

After having the 3" TBE for a while and then going back to a stock 2.5 or 2.25 whatever it is, I found I like the smaller pipe. It gives such a better throttle response.

Did you mean to say all of them are the same except the Impreza RS? Cause thats the car we are talking about here. I have a 04 2.5RS and the guy is selling the exhaust from his 06-07 2.5i...The "RSR" kinda confused me.

RSR is a model/brand of catback.

the gasket looks normal to me. That's where the donut gasket goes. As far as I know, there is little to no change in the RS/2.5i exhaust. I could be wrong though.

If it doesn't fit exactly, I bet you can take it to a muffler shop... I am sure they can figure something out inexpensively.
