CEL meaning

    So I had my engine diagnosed and with the help of the list that is on here I have a "P1443 Evaporative emission control system vent control function problem". I have no idea what this means. Can anyone help?

    it means the little black diaphragm valve on the front of the intake has popped off... put it back on ;)
