yeah, this was fun. We're not as fast as the Mr.JDM himself WJM, but it wasn't bad at all.

I will NEVER drop a tranny again to do a clutch....

its alot smoother. The 6 puck likes to shutter when it doesnt have enough gas but it shifts really smooth around 3000 rpm

    how about a write-up for future DIYs?:naughty:

or is there already one on the site that I missed through my search?:)

I've seen a few write-ups on clutch changes doing the traditional tranny drop, but not one in which the engine was removed.

    either way, cool pix.

Why did you decide on a 6 puck? Are you still on the stock tranny?

If you are still on the stock tranny a good organic would have held more torque than the gears can handle.

My advise is to be careful launching it.

We really didn't need a write-up, it's pretty straight forward.

I did find this one though that sums it up...

I ordered the same clutch Steven is using because it is affordable and he's had it in for awhile now. I don't launch my car so if shouldn't be a problem. Thanks though.

    It's so easy ;)

    1. Pull engine
    2. Remove Clutch
    3. Install new clutch
    4. Install engine.
