My clutch pedal is squeaking a bit, what kind of lubricant should be used and where should it be applied?

I have heard that white lithium grease works well...

The fluid level is fine, is there anything else to check?

Its not squeaking now...so I guess I need to wait for the squeak again so I can find out where its coming from.

Mine squeaks at the release fork and slave cylinder pin.I think its due to water coming trough the hood scoop/ intercooler. i have lubed it but the noise comes back in about a week..

I think it was originally designed as a plastic cleaner.

WD-40 is the trademark name of a water-displacing spray widely available in a variety of retail outlets. Developed in 1953 by [Anthony Byatt], founder of the Rocket Chemical Company, San Diego, California. It was originally designed to repel water and prevent corrosion,[1] and later was found to have numerous household uses.

WD-40 stands for "Water Displacer - 40th Attempt".

    Woo!you tell'em. So don't use WD-40... what then, grease?

it's just my pedal that squeaks, the spring actually squeaks. Think im gonna clean the spring, see what happens, then add grease if the noise persists.
