    What is your goal for the car? Daily driving, mountian runs, autox, track?

    Depends what you want to do with the car as to what would be recommended.

    I would get a set of BC or better coil overs. Something about being stuck at a fixed height has always bothered me.

    BC's at the minimum, TiC's if you're a baller. I have about 25k miles on my BC's and they are still performing great.

    I chose springs due to the lack of money at the time Ive had them for 2yrs now and I couldn't be happier with the ride and handling for the money.

    it's highly possible they will go bad faster due to having lowering springs on the car. There are many other options as far as springs go that I would look into before those. Like the RCE yellows or something along those lines..

    RCE = RaceComp Engineering.

    I went through 3 different suspension setups over the years until I finally got coilovers. They really are overkill on a street car for daily driving, but you do what you want with it...For now, I'd just get a set of springs and swaybars and be done with it.

    I have heard the BC inverted are a little harsh for the street. If you really want to be baller, get the RCE Tarmacs.

    if you're looking for something easy on stock struts, i'd suggest swift springs or machv springs. i'm in the same boat as you, but im probably going to get springs and call it a day

    You'll be better off with something like the RCE springs. They are designed to work with your stock STi dampers. For a DD, coilovers are excessive. Look for pics of people using either RCE yellows or blacks - even without the height adjustment of a coilover they offer a very nice looking drop as well.

    I know there are other good springs for the stock STi struts, I just remembered RCE first.
