    cruise fail (help)

wasn't sure where else to put this...

The hammer switch behind the steering wheel that controls my cruise is going out. I have to work it over quite hard to get it to 'resume' or 'set'.

    is this hard to replace/repair?

You have to remove the steering wheel most of the time.

I think there's a way to just take the airbag out and 'cheat' a little to remove/replace it. I've never done just the switch before, but I know its easier to take the wheel off.

IIRC the airbag takes a T30.

You dont need a puller. Just loosen the nut and leave the nut on the last threads, enough that the nut is fully threaded tho. Then pull on the wheel, rocking it side to side and it'll pop right off.
